Vision 2017 – Let’s Talk Technology

by | Mar 1, 2017

The stage is set for us to talk technology and the automotive repair industry. Vision Conference 2017 is coming up this week, and yours truly will be there with Scott, one of my autotext.me associates.
Let’s talk about the Shop Technology Timeline, where you’re at and where you’re headed. And, should you differ with what I’ve laid out in the Shop Technology Timeline, I look forward to engaging in a hearty conversation, one that I enjoy, as I appreciate hearing others’ takes on where we’re at as an industry and where we’re headed.
Of course, I will try to sell you on autotext.me, that is a given, but I would much rather talk about the future and discuss “what if” or “what could be” versus what already exists. So, come see us at booth #824, and let’s talk.

P.S. I LOVE telematics talk, too!

As an auto repair shop owner of Golden Rule Auto Care, Chris Cloutier realized the need for a better way to communicate with his customers as he observed how communication gaps created bottleneck situations and wasted valuable rack time. With 20+ years experience as a software developer including employment stints at Southwest Airlines and Wyndham International, Chris had seen the benefits of the marriage of software and customer service.  With the entrepreneurial passion to create an innovative solution to solve a common industry problem, Chris designed autotext.me, a tool that dually functions as a visual workflow management system and as a means for keeping customers engaged and informed by providing status updates throughout the stages of the vehicle repair process.
